The path of Athena is a beautiful tour around Punta Campanella, between the Amalfi Coast and the Sorrentine Peninsula. The name of the trail comes from Greek mythology and it is dedicated to the goddess Athena (Minerva), protector of merchants and seafarers.

This hike can be a great way to explore the Amalfi Coast from a different perspective. It’s highly recommended for people who stay in Sorrento.
The trail begins at Termini (Massa Lubrense), arrives at Punta Campanella and climbs up to Monte San Costanzo through various paths surrounded by the incredible flora and beautiful panoramas on Capri, the Gulf of Naples and the Amalfi Coast.

Depending on your level of fitness, this tour can be perfectly tailored as it is possible to choose an easier route and also a more challenging trail.
